I give thanks to my God for every remembrance of you, always praying with joy for all of you in my every prayer, because of your partnership in the Gospel from the first day until now. Phillipians 1:3-5
That verse comes to mind when I think back to our 7 weeks in America. What a blessing we experienced while we where back in Columbus, Fairhope and Birmingham. It was so good to be able to spend time with all of our friends and family.
Thank you so much for allowing us to be able to share what God has been doing down in Honduras and what He has shown us over the past year. You opened up your time for us, your homes, your small groups and made us feel so welcome. We where even treated to way too much delicious food that we all came back to Honduras about 10 lbs heavier!
Ver, very thankful to St Paul United Methodist Church, the church which had such an influence on me through youth and my young adulthood, for allowing us to share at Wed night dinner and being able to eat Minnie’s amazing fried chicken!
Thanks again to my church home 3 Circle Church who constantly helps us out with whatever needs that come up, supporting us much more than we could ever deserve or repay!
To all of our friends, we want to thank for constantly encouraging us, supporting us, allowing us to share our hearts, and providing plenty of laughs along the way.
Our kids are so thankful for the many play dates they were able to have, and for being able to speak in English was a huge blessing for them!
Thanks to our families for sharing us and our kids with everyone else, I am sure you wanted to hog us the whole time… well at least hog the kids the whole time!
We also had the amazing experience of spending 10 days in India alongside AIM (Assisting International Missions) and with Cynthia’s parents who have been doing ministry there were quite sometime. We hope to write an update on that trip in the near future.
We are finally settling back into our life here at GiveHope2Kids. It has been a fun 2 weeks of getting back adjusted, topped off by being able to take all the property down to the playa, beach, yesterday to swim, hangout, and of course eat chinese food, because what else do you eat on the beach in Honduras with a bunch of Hondurans? We are excited about the rest of our time here, and also what our future will be as we look to put everything we have learned into practice.
For those who have asked about giving donations to support the ministry here, there are two ways, both of which you will receive a US tax non-profit receipt. One is through our blog which is linked to GiveHope2Kids, and the other is through AIM’s webpage http://www.aimconnects.org.
We would love for you to continue to keep us in your prayers, that God would continue to give us wisdom and insight and guidance as we look towards our future, but also that we would continue to focus on the here and now, ministry here in Honduras, for the ability to continue to share the love and the message of Jesus here.
Thanks so much for helping us along the way!
God bless!
