Tomorrow we will take our final shipment to New Orleans. Our apartment is becoming more and more bare as we speak. We are grateful for friends and family who have shown us love and support in so many ways. It has been humbling having people open their homes up to our family, pray for us, contribute financially, take the girls for the day so we can pack and simply send encouraging messages to us.
My brother and mother are driving down right now to help us finish packing up tomorrows shipment. As I reflect on the last 9 months of transition and preparation to move to Honduras, I am reminded of how perfect God’s plan and timing is. He truly has gone before us and prepared the way and I rest in knowing He will continue to guide our next steps.
The die has been cast. I have stepped over the line. The decision has been made. I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I won’t look back, let up, slow down, back away or be still. My past is finished and done with low living, sight-walking, small planning, smooth knees, colorless dreams, tame visions, mundane talking, chintzy giving and dwarfed goals.
The Fellowship of the Unashamed
